New Catalog "Sweet Stems" Preview

Ok.............finally something not Christmas........are you shocked? Well it was driving me crazy to not play with my new preordered stamp set from the new catalog, so I made a few cards last night using the new set called Sweet Stems and the new designer series paper. Looks like these new spring colors are going to be Kiwi Kiss, Regal Rose, Rose Red and Perfect Plum! Spring is on it's way!

Stationary Box

I also attempted to make this Stationary box using the "Winter Post" stamp set. These take forever to make but are such a cute gift idea. They hold postage stamps, 3x3 note cards, tags and regular size cards as well as a pen and paper. I have the instructions if anyones interested. Just email me!

More Christmas

I love how Angie Juda made this card with all punches. You use the 1/2", 1", and 1 1/4" inch circl punches to make the tree and case her idea. I used some of my fancy scrapbooking brads to make the tree top but you could use ribbon as well.

Candy Boxes

Here's some better pictures of the boxes I made. I found this template on splitcoast. I used my new felt flurries and build-a-brads to spruce it up a little! Plus I found clear asitate at Michaels in the drafting aisle and used it to make a window so you could see candy inside.

Holiday Stamping!

Now that the last class of the year is over, I have been playing with all my left over Christmas product and putting to good use the "12 days of Christmas" I bought off of Becky over at Inking Idaho. The packet was $12.95 but i've really used it to make cute stuff. Here's some of my alterations to her originals. Enjoy!

Last Stamp Class of the Year

Wow..........i've been meaning to get these pictures up for over a week now. It has been so crazy trying to get ready for Christmas. Here's some pictures of my last class and the rob your neighbor presents that I gave each person who attended class.

Thankgiving!

Ok, so I havn't gotten as much posted and created today as I would have hoped. I got the itch to at least get out and do a little bit of shopping. Plus I think I ate so much food yesterday that i'm just moving a little slower than usual. See above our turkey (1 of 2) and our 10,000 side dishes. It's funny, this is the first time i've actually ran out of room on my countertop. Even a challenge for me!
Also, we had over our friends for dinner that just happen to live right across the street and they have a yorkie too- it's scotch's girlfriend Zoe. Scotch is on the left, Zoe on the right racing for the water bowls.

Setting the Creative Mood!

Here's the entrance into my new stamping haven! It took me forever to get this Vinyl Lettering up when you come down the stairs, but I love it. Sets the "creative" mood.

December 6th card class cards

Here's some creations i've made today. These are the cards for our December 6th class and the project which is an ornament made with the big shot scallop die! Enjoy!

My New Craft Space

As many of you know, we've been working on our basement so I can have my card classes downstairs as well as my workspace. This weekend I cannot tell you how many trips I took from the 2nd story down to the basement.........I got quite a bit of exercise. I think I just have 1 more load and then should be able to start putting things in place for the December class. Here's a sneak peak at my new work space and our "living room" we made in the corner- cozy place to browse through catalogs! Can't wait to show you all more soon!

"Deck the Halls"

Tonight I played around with the Deck the Halls stamp set out of the new Holiday Mini.........it's funny because no one had posted any ideas on Splitcoast for this set yet, so I thought I'd better help out the site and get to creating! These cards are simple but cute and I just love the individual sayings on each stamp and using the stickles to add glitter. You probably can't see it, but they sparkle very pretty! Hope you enjoy!

Starting on the Christmas Cards early!

I did have a few free moments this morning to make 1 card using my new "Big on Christmas" set.........so simple and easy to do yet so cute! I found this on Splitcoast but I can't remember who I CASED it off of! This will probably be a card we make for the November 1st class.
I used the crystal effects and dazzling diamonds glitter to outline it with glitter

Loads and Loads of Stampin Supplies!

This has been a crazy weekend. Friday UPS dropped off 8 large boxes at my house full of Stampin supplies.........can you believe this whole pile is just supplies I need for my upcoming classes? Anyways, I can't wait to work on the Christmas cards and Holiday gifts from the kitchen.
