"Deck the Halls"

Tonight I played around with the Deck the Halls stamp set out of the new Holiday Mini.........it's funny because no one had posted any ideas on Splitcoast for this set yet, so I thought I'd better help out the site and get to creating! These cards are simple but cute and I just love the individual sayings on each stamp and using the stickles to add glitter. You probably can't see it, but they sparkle very pretty! Hope you enjoy!

Starting on the Christmas Cards early!

I did have a few free moments this morning to make 1 card using my new "Big on Christmas" set.........so simple and easy to do yet so cute! I found this on Splitcoast but I can't remember who I CASED it off of! This will probably be a card we make for the November 1st class.
I used the crystal effects and dazzling diamonds glitter to outline it with glitter

September 26th Promotion!!!!

If you havn't played with these new fantastic colors, I highly advise you do so right away! I continue to find great projects to make using these new colors and they've really grown on me..........and trust me I was really attached to the 07-08 in colors.......especially the wild wasabi- but i'm over that and have moved onto the NEW In Colors and love them. See the photo above of the great choices of coloring. Also if you place an order at the September 26th class you will receive the In Color Ink pad of your choice with any order of $35 or more. If you spend $75 or more you can have the coordinating pack of paper for free as well! So start making that wish list! Also, if you can't make it to the 26th class and would still like to take advantage of this promotion, just email me and we'll work something out. All in colors can be found on page 162 of the current catalog!

Online Ordering is here!

Today Stampin' Up! announced they will be offering online ordering. How it works is if its late at night and you want to place an order you can go online to my demonstrator website http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/craftymelissa/promotions and place an order through there simply click at the top "shop now"- you can pay by credit card (either Mastercard, visa or discover) but no discounts will be applied to your order you will pay the regular price of the order and normal shipping costs. So, although it might be a great resource for some, I feel its something to share with you but do know I will still be placing my normal orders after every stamp class and delivering the product to you and my discounts will apply to those orders. So, ordering directly through me is still a preferred method, but online ordering is definitely available.

Also, this link gets you into online ordering and even if you don't want to place an order from it, it is still a great resource to check out the catalog if you're just looking for something really quick. A lot easier than having to download the whole pdf. http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/default.aspx

One more Halloween thing

This is the "Frankenstein" card we made at the Sept 6th Big Shot Club class using the new BIG SHOTS envelope template......the amount of things you can do with the Big Shot is crazy! I love how this opens on the side and I used all different punches to make his nose, eyebrows and eyes. Enjoy!

Halloween Fun!

Halloween is just around the corner so today I tried to make up some Halloween decorations. I love this canister. You can get the canister at Target for $7.00 and in just a few days you'll be able to order the big "Spooky Spider" Vinyl to go on the jar from Stampin Up for just $10.95. I also bought a black picture frame and made a cute 5x7 display on the inside using the new "Tasty Sweet" stamp set and new Gostly Greetings designer series paper. Hope you enjoy and are excited to start decorating for Halloween like me! Well i'm off............gotta go eat all that candy in the jar :)

My new favorite stamp set

Today I used the "Bella Blossoms" stamp set for the first time and I just love it! Check out these cool things I made with it. I love how you can stamp the huge flower in the white craft ink and it just makes the card stand out so much! This is definitely my new favorite set!

New Card Class Location

Today we had our first card class at Nativity Lutheran Church just down the road from my house. It's really nice because they have a ton of tables and space for us to spread out. Check out the pictures!
