BIG SHOT Valentines Day Projects

Tonight I put together some new Big Shot items. I made this frame and did the long strip inside with one of the heart sizzix dies. For the hershey bar treat I used my top notes die and for the Kit Kat treat I used my large scallop die to create the holders. All items are also using the new designer series paper called Candy Cane which is included with the Love You Much Promotion!

Birthday Big Shot Card

Here's a Birthday card I threw together with my Big Shot and my "Party Hearty" stamp set. I also used a build-a-brad for the center of the celebrate you. Enjoy!

Stamping for Fun!

Party Harty Stamp set - with Build A Brads

Just Buzzin by Stamp set. Neutral buttons and oval punches
Its hard to see in this picture, but I am using the corduroy buttons

Good Evening ladies,

Tonight we went to the Denver Nuggets game and had so much fun. The game was very good but the Nuggets were kicking butt in the 4th quarter so we left. When we got home I whipped up a few cards I had been wanting to make. For once, I "slowly stamped"- usually I am so rushed to see how many I can make and I don't focus on layering and the little extras. So, here are a few I am kind of proud of and wanted to share with you. I hope you like them!

Just Buzzin By Card for January 30th weekend class

More with "Just Buzzin by".....................I started making the card above for class this coming Saturday and then couldn't resist making up these cute jumbo paperclips with some of the stamps from this set. I didn't know what I was going to do with those yellow paperclips, but I think this worked out just fine.

Also, to get the honeycomb look on the background of the More Mustard cardstock, I took a piece of bubble wrap from my packing supplies and inked it up in Close to Cocoa. I then smacked it down on my More Mustard Cardstock and rubbed it for just a minute and it came out like this. I think it's a really cute way to add a background! Especially with a bumble bee and bee hive. Enjoy!

Just Buzzin' By!

wouldn't this be cute with tea bags and honey for someone sick??

Hey everyone- Here's a really cute "mini file cabinet" I made. I got this great idea from toy haven's blog- you can find her step by step instructions on this link provided.

This took me about an hour but I think it's so cute. Plus I love this NEW Stampin' Up! Stamp set "Just Buzzing By"- The bees are just so cute and the crystal effects is really fun to use on the honey pot. We will also be using this set at the upcoming January 30th and 31st class.

Binding your new catalog

Just an FYI, today I went to Office Depot and got my new Catalog bound for only $3.50 after tax. I expected it to be a lot more than that. It's really nice also because they put a clear front and back on it as well to reduce any chance of something happening to it. Just a note in case anyone would like there's coiled.

Punches Class Examples

Here's some of the new samples of cards we'll be making using punches for the February 13th and 14th class. I'm so excited for this class because I love punches and i think they are vital item to have in card making and scrapbooking. Hope you like these bright, fun, spring colors!

Tonight I could barely make myself stamp something other than the "Love You Much" Promotion. So, I decided to make up the stuff for the January 30th and 31st Specialty Class. Don't you just love these cute 3-D items! I especially love the mailboxes- I went all over town to find a Target that had enough of these for class. They would be so cute with some 3x3 cards in it or even sweets! If you havn't signed up yet and would like to come to the specialty class or would like more information about it, email me at craftymelissa@sbcglobal.net

Free cards for bringing a friend to class

These are some cards I made with the "Love You Much" set. These are going to be the "friendship" cards I give away to people who bring a friend in the month of January! So, if you want a set of these really cute cards bring a friend to the January 30th or 31st class!

Cards for January 16th and 17th class

Here's my latest creations for my January 16th and 17th upcoming class. We are making these 5 cards using all retiring stamp sets. All of these sets will be retired as of January 18th, so if you see one you like, act now!
Also, you can't see it very well in the picture, but the Dare to Be Fabulous Pink and Black card is all glittered with the irridescent ice embossing powder! Who doesn't love glitter!
